Hi! I’m Chioma, the girl behind the blog. Lists are much more
fun than bios, so here’s a list of 20 interesting facts about myself:
- I love historically based movies (think Life is Beautiful or Hotel Rwanda).
- I got my first detention when I was four for pulling down my gym teacher’s shorts.
- I've yet to meet an oxford I don't like:)
- I’m obsessed with notebooks and school supplies in general.
- My laptop’s name is Macbeth.
- I think the person that came up with the fave red Starburst pack is a genius.
- I climbed more than 1000 flights of stairs the summer I spent in NYC.
- I was born and raised in South Carolina (G.R.I.T.S. for life!).
- I will always make time for a Criminal Minds marathon (post Gideon that is).
- I love long drives by myself to blast music, think out loud, laugh, and breathe.
- If I were a rapper my name would be C-Ice.
- When I'm by myself, I laugh like Fran from the Nanny but with more baritone.
- I'd rather get up early than stay up late.
- My last name means greater things are yet to come.
- When I was younger, I had to be bribed with candy to smile in pictures.
- I’m Nigerian with a BS in biology, a MPH, and no intention or desire of going to medical school; my parents have not disowned me yet.
- I
really want to go to Comic-con to meet
the cast of Psych(well that's not happening) and the cast of the Big Bang Theory. - I think of the best jokes when no one is around.

Proof of #20:) |
All in
all I try not to take myself too seriously. I think life is too short to be so
tightly wound. Sometimes I fail miserably, but that’s a part of the journey. I
find inspiration in music, fashion, my faith, sunny days, books, good food, and
people. I want to do more things that scare me and starting this blog is one of
them.
Questions…feel free to ask!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Such a great ABOUT ME, Chioma! :D Hahahhahaha #2 is too awesome....I can't believe you did that. And I'm just like you--my favorite types of films are more "serious" and historical because they can be so touching and intense, and almost always have great lessons behind them.
ReplyDeleteThank you!! I was a bit of a troublemaker as a child but I think I've mostly grown out of that lol.
DeleteI don't believe for one second you were a troublemaker ! Great page chica!
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks! And believe it! My mom and sisters could tell you some stories:)
